We've had 2 awesome showers now; one in Tulsa and one in the Fort. We got some great stuff too (Thank-you, everybody!). More about those below. Jack apparently has 2 modes: sleeping or boiling. I say boiling because that is the best way I can describe what Kathryn's stomach looks like while he's flailing around.
I now believe in Cosmic Karma: the idea that what you've done in life, good or ill, will be revisited on you. All the squirrely-ness I had as a kid seems like it will soon be revisited on me. Bring it on, though. We're not 100% there, but we have put up and organized most Jack's stuff. Kathryn has been awesome about organizing drawers and figuring out what gets stored, or hanged up or whatever. There are so many clothes it makes my head spin, but she somehow keeps track of it all.
It has been a busy last few weeks for the Kinder family! 2 weeks ago, Kathryn received her pin for nursing school- there are pics posted below- and her fam came in town and we had a great time celebrating. Also, We had a shower here in Fort Worth last week that my mom and sisters came for. We had a great time with them: God bless them they got up early to drive here so we could go to railhead. I'm glad my family has their priorities straight. I didn't go to this shower, but I hear it was a blast.
Our last dr.'s appointment went well. Everything looks great, and for the second appointment in a row Jack kicked the doppler when the nurse was listening to the heartbeat! Apparently he does not like people poking on him or invading his space. I can sympathize... We will have a sonogram next visit (wednesday) and they will estimate the size of baby and check Kathryn's fluid levels to make sure everything is still good.
