Day 10 with Jack
Well, today is day 10 with Jack and we are slowly learning all of his quirks and his personality. As for sleep, well that can wait until he goes to college right? We have had a few nights with very little sleep, but they are spaced between nights of good sleep, so it all balances out. Below are some of the latest pics of the little man. Here are some of his personality traits so far: he is very picky about his pacifier, if he won't go to sleep anywhere else- he will go to sleep on Jon or I, he loves to rock in the dad chair, he loves his swing, he can sleep through any noise except his sneezing and he constantly makes noise in his sleep. As for the pacifiers, Jon and I bought some before he was born (eco-friendly, all-natural, of course), but he did not like those. So, we made an emergency run to Babies R Us and bought one of every brand and brought them home to test them. Fortunately, he picked a winner- lil' mams. He's not completely attached to the pacifier, but he does like to know it's there as he is falling asleep. We took him to Central Market a couple of days ago and he rode in a sling, which he loved (if it moves- he loves it- car, swing, sling, stroller, Daddy). We also took him on his first walk in the gorgeous weather we're having and that was very fun too! Well, that pretty much covers Jack's life for now- he has his first real dr's appt. on October 5th, so we will know his latest height/weight stats then. Enjoy the pics and we will post more soon.

Jack Attack!
Little dude is here!!! Hooray!! Cheers!!!
k, that was about the last of my energy. So, we brought home a little human from the hospital the other day. Neat.
Here's a few of the pictures we've taken over the last couple days.
We'll post more later, but know that he's a healthy boy. We had our check-up this morning and he had only lost 3 oz. (from 7lb 1oz to 6lb 14 oz). The doc was convinced he didn't have jaundice, so she didn't have to pric his heel or anything.
more later, Sleep now.

still just the two of us...
Well, as you can tell from the title, no baby arrival yet, but we are anxiously waiting. I have another dr.'s appointment on Wednesday with another sonogram to check everything again. Two weeks ago, Jack weighed 6 lbs., so we will see how he has grown. Although, these estimates are just that- estimates. Everything is ready for the big arrival and Jon and I have been trying to get some extra sleep, which can be hard at 39 weeks pregnant :) I cooked up a storm last week and we have a pretty good reserve of meals and I am attempting to stay on top of the laundry so we will have something to wear even if we don't do laundry for a few weeks after baby's arrival! Posted below are some belly pics taken over the last two weeks or so, plus one of Jon and I from my pinning ceremony. Can you tell which one of us has been enjoying the outdoors? We will try to post more often and keep people updated on whether baby is here or not :)
